As the controversy over Ved Pratap Vaidik and JuD chief Hafiz Saeed`s meet continues, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Indresh Kumar has added fuel to the fire by saying that the senior journalist is a nationalist.
After terming bomb blast suspects
associated with RSS as "Sanghi terrorism", Congress on Friday went
a step further asking the Sangh to come clean on reports of
its leader Indresh Kumar`s suspected ISI links.
Rajasthan DGP Harish Chandra Meena
has refuted the charge that senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar`s
name was included in the Ajmer blast chargesheet, filed by the
state Anti-Terrorist Squad, under political pressure.
RSS on Saturday charged investigating
agencies probing the Ajmer Dargah blast of subjecting a senior
RSS functionary Indresh Kumar, named in the chargesheet in the
case, "to physical and mental torture".
Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Uma
Shankar Gupta Wednesday said Rajasthan government was issuing
"contradictory statements" on their role in arresting RSS
functionary Indresh Kumar in connection with the Ajmer blast.
The BJP on Tuesday defended senior RSS
leader Indresh Kumar and accused ruling Congress of getting
his name included in the Ajmer Blast case chargesheet as part
of a "conspiracy" to lay grounds for banning the Sangh.
