The sightscreen at the north end of the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here fell down after coming off the railings on which it was mounted, to add to the difficulties of the organisers of the third ODI between India and Australia.
The clock chimed seven, and the
refurbished Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, packed to the rafters,
clapped and cheered in ecstasy as the Rs 44 curare apostate

Just hours before the opening
ceremony for the 19th Commonwealth Games, Union Home Minister
P Chidambaram on Sunday visited the Jawahralal Nehru stadium here
to check the extensive security arrangements.

government, six days after it was tasked to construct it.
