A former Uttar Pradesh minister and his MLC brother were among 156 people booked in connection with the communal clashes at Kosi Kalan town that claimed four lives and left 16 others injured, police said on Monday.
Syed Ahmed Bukhari, the Shahi Imam of Delhi`s Jama Masjid, Monday accused the ruling SP in Uttar Pradesh of taking late action in the Kosi Kalan communal riots.
Curfew was relaxed on Sunday for two hours in riot-hit Kosi Kalan town, where communal violence claimed four lives.
