Putting up a brave face despite damning indictment by Lokayukta on illegal mining,
Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa said his
govt needs time to study the "voluminous" report submitted by the anti-corruption watchdog.
Karnataka Governor HR Bhardwaj is studying the Lokayukta report on illegal mining,
which has indicted Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and
recommended his prosecution under the provisions of the
Prevention of Corruption Act.
In his first comments on Lokayukta report indicting Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa and four ministers in the mining scam, Karnataka Governor Hansraj Bhardwaj said that he will act as per the law on the issue.
