The Delhi government on Saturday approved a long-pending proposal to construct around 40,000 low cost flats in the city for distribution among people belonging to economically weaker sections.
After years of delay, Delhi Government today started allotment of around 14,000 low-cost flats to slum dwellers in keeping with its plan to make the national capital slum-free.
With an eye on MCD polls slated
for March, Delhi Government on Friday finally started allotment of
around 2,200 low cost flats.
As a new year gift, Delhi
Government will allot around 2,000 low cost flats to
industrial workers of the city next month.
