A total of 13 crib deaths have taken place in Malda Medical College and Hospital in the past 72 hours with one infant succumbing till evening on Monday.
Five more babies have died in the Malda Medical College and Hospital since yesterday, taking the toll in the crib deaths at the facility to 12 in two days.
As many as nine infants have died in the government-run Malda Medical College and Hospital in West Bengal.
Eight more infants died in the Malda Medical College and Hospital on Thursday, taking the death toll in the past two-days up to 13, hospital sources said.
Nine babies died within a space
of 12 hours at the Malda Medical College and Hospital in the
district where barely two months back 20 new-borns had died.
Four more infants died at Malda Sadar Hospital on Thursday after they were referred from rural hospitals in critical state.
Three more infants died at the
Malda Sadar Hospital on Wednesday after being referred in
critical condition from other district hospitals.
Four more babies have died in Malda Sadar Hospital here taking the crib death toll in the hospital to 22 in the last few days.
Five more babies have died since
yesterday, taking the crib death toll today to 23 in the
state-run Malda Sadar Hospital.
Three more newborns died
since last night at the Malda Sadar Hospital here and all of
them were referred from hospitals located in rural areas.
With the death of five new borns,
the toll of infant deaths at the Malda Sadar Hospital in the past five days rose to 16.
Three more children died at
Malda Sadar Hospital on Saturday taking the number of crib deaths in
the state-run facility to nine in past two days.
Eight more newborns have died at
the Malda District Sadar Hospital since Monday, taking the
crib death toll in the institution to 26 since November 9.
