60 persons have lost their eyesight after an operation at a free medical camp organised by an NGO in Gurdaspur district of Punjab, civil and medical authorities said on Thursday.
With the aim to provide free medical care to the residents of far-off and border areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Army organised a medical camp in remote Samote village of Poonch district.
A five-day multi specialty medical camp was conducted by Southern Naval Command at different islands of the Lakshadweep.
Indian Navy conducted a four day long Medical camp at the Union Territory of Lakshadweep, which concluded on Friday, benefitting over 2,000 islanders.
Over 3,000 patients were on Sunday
provided free consultation and medicines at the Army`s
day-long medical-cum-veterinary camp in Uri sector.
