Reeling under scorching heat, Delhiites heaved a sigh of relief on Sunday as heavy rains hit several parts of the city and its nearby areas.
Stating that there was nothing unusual about rains in parts of Gujarat, Met officials said that it was attributable to upper air cyclonic circulation.
Maximum and the minimum temperatures would be
between 30 to 15 degrees Celsius with no chances of rain, a
MeT department said.
It was biting cold in Delhi Monday morning with chilly winds blowing and clouds completely hiding the sun.
Allaying fears of flooding of city on July 23 & 24 during high tide, the
Met said it was unlikely that there would be "extreme" showers during the two days.
