Congress candidate DG Shanthana Gowda has alleged that he was offered Rs 10 crore to quit the election race in Karnataka.
Asserting that his government still enjoyed a majority even after 13 BJP MLAs resigned, Karnataka Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar said he is ready to face a no-confidence motion, if opposition moves.
Gowda refuted Renukacharya`s allegations that step-motherly treatment was being meted out to ministers, who are supporters of Yeddyurappa.
Excise Minister MP Renukacharya questioned Santosh Hegde`s `silence` over corruption by officials of the anti-corruption watchdog.
