A Delhi court on Monday kept its order pending over NIA Hyderabad`s application seeking a three-day transit remand of Indian Mujahideen (IM) operatives Tehsin Akhtar and Zia-ur-Rehman alias Waqas in connection with the Dilsukhnagar blast in February last year.
Mumbai anti-terrorism squad (ATS) was today allowed by a Delhi court to arrest Indian Mujahideen (IM) co-founder Yasin Bhatkal and his aide Asadullah Akhtar in connection with the July 13, 2011 Mumbai terror attack case in which over 20 persons were killed and 141 injured.
The two terror suspects, arrested
here for allegedly planning attacks in Mumbai, are associated with fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, who is
believed to be in Pakistan, an official of the Anti-Terrorist
Squad said today.
The families of Abdul Latif and
Riyaz Ali, arrested for allegedly planning terror strikes in
the city, on Sunday claimed that the duo were falsely implicated
by the police and had nothing to do with terror activities.

A team of the state Anti-Terrorism
Squad (ATS) will on Wednesday leave for the national capital to
question the 27-year-old suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT)
operative arrested by Delhi Police`s Special Cell.
