In the backdrop of playing second fiddle to lead actors in various flicks, actor Prateik Babbar is keeping his fingers crossed ahead of the release of his first solo project as a protagonist `My Friend Pinto` slated to release on October 14.
Bollywood actors have their ways of making sure that their films set cash registers ringing at the box office. While some go to temples or shrines, others keep vows as in the case of Prateik, who has promised celibacy, before the release of his `My Friend Pinto`.
Release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next ‘My Friend Pinto’ has been pushed ahead following a clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s youth rom-com ‘Always Kabhi Kabhi’. Bhansali has postponed the release of his forthcoming film from June 17 to July 1.
