New Delhi: The Centre on Wednesday told the Delhi High Court that Assam has expressed inability to provide its cops for being deputed in the national capital to ensure safety and security of persons hailing from northeast states.
"In pursuance of the earlier direction of the court, we had written to eight north eastern states seeking their help in providing policemen on deputation here.
