The tussle between ruling Congress and opposition BJP over the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) issue has cast a shadow on the 2nd ODI match between India and West Indies scheduled to be held here on October 17.
Chief Minister P K Dhumal on Monday rejected Union Minister VB Singh`s
charge that Himachal Pradesh government had violated laws for
giving a tea estate to a trust linked to Team Anna member
Replying to five-day debate on the general budget for
2011-12, Dhumal said Himachal has a very large number of
employees and the total expenditure on salaries, pension and
interests payment etc was about 60 percent.
