Russian paratrooper divisions will receive unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs or drones) within the next three to five years, a top military official said on Friday.
With the restoration of normalcy
in Kyrgyzstan, Russia on Thursday recalled its paratroopers from its
base near capital Bishkek, that were sent to protect Russian
military facilities in the wake of violence last month.
The Union Home Ministry has ordered paratroopers to airdrop themselves at the location.
