A delegation of journalists from Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday highlighted the problems, including shortage of food items and drinking water, being faced by the people of the flood-hit state at an interaction organised by the Press Council of India (PCI) here.
Press Council of India (PCI) Chairman Markandey Katju on Sunday stressed on the need for a central command centre to coordinate relief work in flood ravaged Jammu and Kashmir as the agencies engaged in relief and rescue now were doing it in an "uncoordinated manner".
