India Friday successfully test-fired the indigenously-built Pinaka rockets for second day from a defence base in Odisha, an official said.
India`s indigenously developed Pinaka rockets were on Thursday successfully test-fired thrice from a multi-barrel rocket launcher at an armament base in Chandipur-on-sea.
India`s indigenously developed Pinaka rockets were successfully test-fired from a multi-barrel rocket launcher from a base at Chandipur-on-sea near here on Thursday.
`Pinaka`, which has undergone several tough tests since 1995, has already been inducted into the armed forces.
The Ordnance Factory Ambajhari
(OFAJ) near here is all set to enhance its manufacturing
capacity of Pinaka rockets from the present 1,000 rockets to
5,000 every year for the Indian Army, sources said.
