Power supply is yet to be restored in some parts of Jammu city, which are without electricity for the past 60 hours after strong winds snapped electricity lines.
The Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday said that 81 percent electricity supply has been restored in Kashmir Valley and work is on to restore the rest.

Pressurised by deepening power crisis due to huge power theft in Jammu and Kashmir, the Power Development Department (PDD) has regularised 5,594 illegal power connections.
