Seeking urgent intervention of the Centre for clearance of power and mining projects in Chhattisgarh, CM Raman Singh on Saturday requested Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to take up the matter with the Environment Ministry.
As power projects in the country
face increasing terror threat, the Power Ministry on Wednesday said
the Central Industrial Security Force would provide security
cover to all power plants in the next three to five years.
