The Delhi High Court on Wednesday asked
the Centre not to go ahead, for the time being, with
confiscation of properties belonging to the mother and the
sister of fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has
decided to provisionally attach the properties of suspended
IAS couple, Arvind and Tinu Joshi, who had allegedly amassed
assets worth Rs 350 crore unlawfully, officials said on Sunday.
Actor Sanjay Dutt today moved the Bombay High Court appealing against its earlier order directing attachment of two of his properties in connection with a financial dispute with producer Shakeel Noorani.
Acting against illegal
structures, the MCD on Thursday sealed two properties and demolished
unauthorised portions of eight constructions in east Delhi,
where a building collapse killed 71 people last month.
