Noisy scenes were witnessed in Uttarakhand Assembly on Tuesday as BJP protested against the state government making "populist" announcements and laying of foundation stones of a slew of development projects over the past few days despite the House being in session.
BJP leader Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Friday demanded resignation of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna, alleging that his government has done nothing to rebuild the Kedarnath shrine and adjoining areas, and has tried to keep its failure under the wraps.
