Nursery admissions in Delhi will have to wait yet again for two more days as the Supreme Court (SC) Monday reserved its order on the plea of the parents on the inter-state transfers who have sought admission of their children.
Delhi High Court on Friday reserved its order on a plea challenging the Lt Governor`s nursery admission guidelines, which clubs disabled children with those from economically weaker groups (EWS) and seeking three per cent quota for kids with special needs.
The NGOs have failed to properly maintain the temporary night shelters in the city which has led to their low occupancy, according to a panel appointed by the Delhi HC following a Delhi government plea to shut down the facility.
