Flood fury: Rising water levels in North Kashmir matter of concern, 1.5 lakh people still marooned, says Omar

Water levels in North Kashmir are rising which is a matter of concern, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said while hoping that it would not be as bad as in the rest of the valley.

`Prepared to tackle any eventuality arising out of heavy rains`

Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit Wednesday said her government was prepared to tackle any eventuality arising out of the rising levels of Yamuna and has set up around 170 camps for people living in low-lying areas near the river.
