has cancelled the `At Home` programme organised in connection
with the Republic Day celebrations at Raj Bhavan here on
January 26 in the wake of the stampede at Pullumedu that
killed 102 Ayyappa devotees.
Kerala CM VS Achuthanandan said the issue of lack of co-ordnation among government departments raised by Kerala HC in the context of the Sabarimala stampede would be brought in the ambit of the proposed judicial probe.
In a suo moto reference, a division bench of the High Court observed that there had been lack of co-ordination among various departments in the arrangements for regulating flow of pilgrims at Sabarimala.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who wanted to visit Vandiperiyar where 102 Sabarimala piligrims were killed on Friday night, was unable do so as his helicopter could not land there today owing to bad weather.
