Stressing on for a review of the
safety measures at the existing nuclear plants in the backdrop
of calamity in Japan, former president APJ Abdul Kalam on Friday said all the upcoming atomic projects should be examined.
Atomic Energy Regulatory Board said it would carry out a comprehensive reassessment of safety and emergency mitigation measures at all the Indian nuclear power plants, in the light of the crisis in Japan.
