Trashing the purported interview of Aseemanand, an accused in Samjhauta Express and other blast cases, that RSS had "sanctioned" the terror acts, BJP on Friday dismissed it as an attempt by the government to divert public attention from important issues before Lok Sabha polls.
CPI-M leader Basudev Achariya on Friday demanded a CBI probe into the claims made by Swami Aseemanand, an accused in the Samjhauta Express and other blast cases, that the RSS leadership had "sanctioned" these terror acts.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) detained one suspect from here in connection with the Samjhauta Express and Malegaon blasts as well as the murder of former RSS activist Sunil Joshi, official sources said.
