Scorpene submarines ordered by Indian Navy from French firm DCNS in 2005, as part of technology transfer between 2 countries, will be rolled out by 2014, France`s top diplomat in India said.
India is expected to commission its first Scorpene submarine, being developed by French naval construction group DCNS, by 2015, said Union Minister of State for Defence MM Pallam Raju here on Monday.
The delivery of the first Scorpene submarine under Project-75 to the Indian Navy has been put off till second half of 2015, Parliament was informed on Monday.
