Claiming Bihar is witnessing silent revolution at grassroots through Self Help Groups (SHGs), Rural Development Minister Nitish Mishra said CM Nitish Kumar has promised to further boost up SHGs.
The Bihar Legislative Assembly Friday took a collective resolution for women`s empowerment.
Ten lakhs Self Help Groups would be formed in Bihar in next the five years to weed out poverty.
A Reserve Bank occasional paper has mooted a special fund for Self Help Groups (SHGs) to deal with regional imbalances in credit disbursement to poor, particularly in the eastern and central regions of the country.
