President`s Secretariat has made resignation of former Sikkim High Court chief justice PD Dinakaran public under the Right to Information Act.
Govt is unlikely to accede to the request of Justice PD Dinakaran, facing impeachment proceedings, for withdrawal of his resignation.
Justice Dinakaran has written a letter to President Pratibha Patil in which he has expressed his desire to take
back his resignation.
The charges include possession of disproportionate wealth, land encroachment and benami transactions.
A section of members of AAB on Saturday openly came out in support of Karnataka High Court Chief Justice PD Dinakaran, facing land grabbing charges, saying he should not be
transferred and be allowed to resume judicial work.
