BJP on Wednesday claimed it had "come
to know" that the then Finance Minister P Chidambaram had
recommended that the government should go ahead with the
first-come-first-serve basis in 2G spectrum allocation.
AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa asked Monday why the DMK ministers in the BJP-led NDA govt remained mute spectators when more than Rs.100,000 cr loss was caused to the nation by faulty telecom spectrum allocation policies.
The first meeting of the EGoM constituted to take a decision on the pricing of spectrum for third-generation telecom services has got postponed, making the wait for 3G services in the country even longer.
