Delhi government will install statues of freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru inside the premises of state Assembly and take steps to include the contribution made by the three martyrs in school curriculum.
The Supreme Court on Friday restrained all the state governments and Union Territories from granting permission for erecting statues or construction of any structure at public places which obstructs traffic movement, saying citizens` right to move freely can`t be taken away.

unlike Mayawati who was busy putting up her own statues and
doing nothing else during the BSP regime.
The Uttar Pradesh government will continue to set up parks and memorials in the names of Dalit icons despite the criticism by political opponents of the ruling Bahujan Samaj Party, Chief Minister Mayawati suggested Wednesday.
