(NIA) is likely to question right wing Hindu group Abhinav
Bharat member Swami Asimanand for his alleged involvement in
2007 Samjhauta Express blast case.
A local court on Thursday remanded Swami
Asimanand, an accused in the 2007 Mecca Masjid blast case, in
eight-day CBI custody till December 18.
CBI on Saturday moved a local court
seeking ten more days` custody for Swami Asimanand arrested in
connection with the 2007 blast in Mecca Masjid here.
A local court on Friday granted permission to the CBI to interrogate Swami Asimanand, an accused in the 2007 Mecca Masjid bomb blast case, for seven days.
The key accused in the Mecca Masjid blast case will be produced before a Hyderabad court on Saturday, a day after he was arrested in Haridwar and brought here by the Central Bureau of Investigation.
Seven people were killed in a bomb blast in September 29, 2008, at Malegaon.
