A Delhi court Monday posted for Dec 6 the hearing of a case filed against Lt. Gen. Tejinder Singh (Retd) who allegedly offered a bribe to then army chief Gen. VK Singh for clearing "sub-standard" Tatra trucks.
The Delhi High Court issued a notice to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on the plea of Lt Gen (retd) Tejinder Singh who had challenged the trial court order of rejecting his bail plea over allegations that he offered bribe to then Army chief General VK Singh for clearing "sub-standard" Tatra trucks for the Army.
There was a difference of opinion between CBI officers on filing charge sheet against Lt Gen (Retd) Tejinder Singh in connection with alleged bribe offer made to then army chief VK Singh in connection with Tatra vehicle deal.
