outfit began its 24-hour shutdown in Jharkhand, Bihar and
north Chhattisgarh at midnight.
Taking suo motu cognisance of
public inconvenience caused by the ongoing Jat agitation, the
Allahabad High Court on Friday directed the governments concerned to clear railway tracks and national highways blocked due to the stir.
Restoration of the railway line
where the Mumbai-bound train derailed in West Midnapore
district would take some more time to restore as the
worst-affected coaches are yet to be removed from the tracks,
railway officials said.
