CRPF on Tuesday said its personnel who were ambushed in an early morning Naxal attack in Chhattisgarh came under heavy fire when they were moving for a road sanitisation task in Sukma district.
Five CRPF personnel were killed
and three injured on Tuesday when a commander`s escort vehicle was
blown up in a landmine blast by Naxals in Dantewada district
Defence and paramilitary personnel who suffer 100 percent disability while fighting Maoists will get a one-time compensation of Rs 9 lakh, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said on Monday.
