The Nepal Army Friday rubbished Maoists` allegation of poll-rigging and termed the charge as baseless.
An alliance of 33 dissenting parties, led by a Maoist breakaway faction, today agreed with Nepal`s four mainstream parties to hold an all-party meeting soon to end the political deadlock plaguing the country.
The ruling Maoists are ready to accept a Nepali Congress-led national government if a package deal is struck among major parties to end current political stalemate, Nepal`s deputy Prime Minister said.
Nepal`s 3 major political parties - UCPN-Maoist, Nepali Congress and CPN-UML -launched a "last ditch" effort to rescue Nepal from the political crisis.
