Ukraine voters will go to the polls Sunday in elections set to dramatically reshape parliament, after a year of upheavals in which a deadly pro-Russian uprising has threatened to splinter the ex-Soviet state.
Nearly 700 OSCE observers will monitor Ukraine`s key parliamentary vote on October 26, the pan-European security body said on Friday, as it opened an election observer office in Kiev.
International observers have slammed Ukraine`s parliamentary elections saying the polls were marred by fraud, intimidation and other abuses.
Yanukovich was on course today to sweep the first round of Ukraine`s Prez polls, 5 yrs after vote-rigging by his supporters sparked the Orange Revolution.
