Make grievance redressal mechanisms public: UGC to varsities

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has asked varsities in the country to put up notice boards for ensuring awareness about the establishment of grievance redressal mechanism and their students grievances portal.

Colleges, varsities to be ranked on 'Swacchta'

The government has asked all institutes of higher learning to participate in `Swachhta` ranking, where the institutes will be judged on several criteria like availability of toilets and garbage disposal system on their premises.
