Obama to link immigration reform and housing prices

The Democratic leader is set to spend the day in Arizona, in the US southwest, for a day of housing-related activities, five years after the "subprime" mortgage crisis sparked the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression.

US housing prices at lowest point in a decade

Prices of single-family homes in the 20 largest US metropolitan areas fell 3.5 percent in February from a year earlier, leaving the national averages at their lowest level since early 2003, according to the latest S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Indices.
