India and the US are in discussions over a liberalized visa regime, National Security Adviser Shivshankar Menon said on Friday.
India on Thursday said the visa regime between New Delhi and Panama, a central American nation, needs to be liberalised to increase economic cooperation between the countries.
A revised visa agreement between India and Pakistan will be launched on Friday when Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik arrives on a three-day visit to India, official sources said.
The neighbours are working closely towards amendments in the existing visa agreement.
