Hailing Trinamool`s thumping win in the WB civic polls, the BJP today
said the electorate had rejected the Congress due to its confusion on the Naxal issue and its hobnobbing
with Left parties despite an alliance with the TC.
Accepting the results of West Bengal
civic polls as a setback, the CPI Wednesday said the Left Front
should introspect and make a proper assessment of the
situation ahead of the next year`s Assembly Elections.
A total 68 companies of central
force will be sent to West Bengal for May 30 civic polls in
the Naxal-hit state, where security personnel have begun route
march in sensitive areas to build confidence among the people.
