The CPI(M) on Thursday sought the intervention of West Bengal Governor M K Narayanan into alleged attacks of opposition candidates by the ruling Trinamool Congress during nomination filing for June`s panchayat polls.
The BJP on Saturday requested West Bengal Governor MK Narayanan to prevail upon the Centre for putting diplomatic and other pressures on Bangladesh to take steps for the safety of the minorities there.
The CPI(M) on Sunday branded West Bengal
Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi as "partisan", two days after
the party-led Left Front questioned his "neutrality" when he
criticised the post-poll violence in the state.
