Dance India Dance 6 winner: Sanket Gaonkar lifts the trophy—Pics

New Delhi: One of the most popular dance reality shows on Indian television, 'Dance India Dance' (DID) season 6 had a glittering grand finale on February 18, 2018. Sanket Gaonkar of Karnataka was declared the winner and lifted the trophy.

The grand finale saw many applause-worthy dance performances by contestants. Sanket was a part of choreographer cum mentor Mini Pradhan gang named—Mini Ke Masterblaster. He got an entry into the show after clearing the Mumbai auditions.

DID season 6 had popular faces as judges such as ace choreographers like Mudassar Khan, Marzi Pestonji and Mini Pradhan. They also turned mentors for the young talents while Grand Master Mithun Chakraborty encouraged the terrific budding dancers.

Dance India Dance 6 grand finale saw Sachin Sharma, Piyush Gurbhele, Nainika Anasuru and Shivam Wankhede as finalists. Besides lifting the winner's trophy, Sanket also got a prize money of Rs 5 lakh respectively.

Dance India Dance first aired on 2009 and ever since has given the Indian film industry some mind-blowing dancers. It is the most popular dance reality show where grandmaster Mithun's presence is loved by all.

The show has given us some popular names in the field of dance such as Salman Yusuff Khan, Shakti Mohan, Dharmesh Yelande also known as Dharmesh Sir to name a few.
