Kapil Sharma back on the sets of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge

Mumbai: Kapil Sharma, who is now an actor, producer, TV show host – began his career with The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2007. And now he is all set to promote his debut home production – Firangi – on the show, which made him a household name ten years ago.

The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, which is being judged by Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, will probably see Kapil make an appearance to promote Firangi, his second film as an actor.

Producer Ashwini Yardi took to Twitter to share an image from the sets of the comedy reality show.

She tweeted:

Interestingly, things have changed for Kapil Sharma in the last few years. He ventured into TV production by producing his own show Comedy Nights With Kapil. Then he went on to produce The Kapil Sharma Show. Film personalities made their presence felt in his show to promote their upcoming films and now he is visiting shows hosted by Bollywood superstars to promote his film.

Kapil had entered the house of Bigg Boss 11 and shared the stage with Salman for Firangi. He will now share space with Akshay Kumar for an episode of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.

Life is indeed amazing!

Kapil’s Firangi which also stars Ishita Dutta and Monica Gill is slated to hit the silverscreen on November 24. However, the film release may get delayed if the Central Board of Film Certification takes times to issue a certificate.

Directed by Rajiev Dhingra, the film is set in the back drop of India before independence.
