New Delhi: Actor-turned-politician Smriti Irani, who is popularly known for her role of Tulsi Virani in the show 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' turned a year older on Friday. Actor Ronit Roy, who played the role of Mihir Virani, her on-screen husband, took to Instagram to wish Smriti on her birthday.

Sharing an old picture from the iconic TV show, Ronit wrote on Instagram, "May life ahead be even more glorious and joyful. Happy Birthday, @smritiiraniofficial God Bless."

For the longest time ever on Indian television, Mihir and Tulsi Virani were revered as an ideal couple on-screen. The lead actors playing those characters in Ekta Kapoor's daily soap 'Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', Ronit Roy and Smriti Irani are still loved by their fans for being a part of this show.

Last year, Ronit had a chance meeting with Smriti Irani, who is now the I & B minister. To mark the event, Ronit had clicked a selfie with Smriti, and posted on Twitter.

After the picture went viral, the happy fans couldn't stop tweeting about the Mihir-Tulsi reunion. The Twitterati had an awesome time recalling the iconic show on television!

Ronit is currently seen in Alt Balaji's web series 'Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain' alongside Mona Singh and Gurdeep Kohli.
