In yet another incident of moral policing by the members of Bajrang Dal, a Hindu girl and a Muslim boy were prevented from marrying in a court in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh.

Meerut: In yet another incident of moral policing by the members of Bajrang Dal, a Hindu girl and a Muslim boy were prevented from marrying in a court in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. 

The Bajrang Dal workers prevented the alliance calling it a case of 'love jihad'.

As per a report, the couple was at the court to get their interfaith marriage registered. However, the proceedings could not be completed as the Bajrang Dal activists barged in and stopped the dup from registering their marriage. They dubbed it as a case of 'love jihad'.

Later, the police intervened into the matter and took the girl and the boy to a police station.

The police later summoned the parents of the duo to ascertain the facts in the case.
