Gujarat Rajya Sabha elections: Congress confident of Ahmed Patel's victory
Voting for Rajya Sabha polls 2017 has commenced. In the fight for 10 seats in the Upper House of the Parliament, three belongs to Gujarat, six for West Bengal and one for Madhya Pradesh. The race to polls witnessed heavy political actions especially in Gujarat, with six Congress MLAs defecting and the party stashing away it's 44 legislators near Bengaluru to avoid 'alleged' temptation from BJP.
