Global Hunger Index: India ranked 63rd, 40% children under 5 underweight

India has moved from 65 to 63 in the Global Hunger Index 2013, released on 14 October by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), Welthungerhilfe, and Concern Worldwide. The report revealed that 842 million people were chronically under nourished across the world.
