IPS DG Vanzara quits, slams `God` Narendra Modi for exploiting Gujarat police

Suspended Gujarat IPS officer DG Vanzara, currently under scanner for involvement in fake encounter cases, on Tuesday resigned putting the entire blame on the state`s Chief Minister Narendra Modi and his close aide and former home minister Amit Shah. In a 10-page letter sent to the Gujarat government, Vanzara said that the two did not protect the state`s policemen and exploited them for political gains.
