1. Kurukshetra

This site, which is in Ambala, is where the epic Mahabharata war took place. There is a pond called Brahma Sarovar, where believers congregate to partake in a sacred bath during the solar eclipse.

2. Hastinapur

Situated in Meerut, Hastinapur used to be the Kuru clan's capital city. It is now one of India's most important pilgrimage destinations.
