30,000 vacancies: West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test (WBTET Exam 2017) - Apply at wbbpe.org, wbsed.gov.in

Kolkata: West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) has released West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test (WBTET 2017) notification.

Those who are interested in applying for TET 2017 can log into any of the official websites wbbpe.org, wbbpeonline.in or wbsed.gov.in.

Online facility would be available from October 10, 2017 till October 29, 2017.
The examination dates for WBTET are yet to be declared.

There will be 150 questions for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2017 Primary for Classes I-V.

Eligibility criteria

- Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2) with at least 50 percent marks and two year diploma in elementary education.

- Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2) with at least 50 percent marks four years Bachelor of elementary education.

- Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2) with at least 50 percent marks and having Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India.

- Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education.

How to register yourself

Click on “Register Yourself” button from the home page.

Step 2. Enter Name, Email, Mobile and select Gender, Category(Caste)

Step 3. Select Physically Challenged (Disability 40% or above). If it is “Yes” , Type of disability drop down will appear

Step 4. Then press “Send OTP” Button

Step 5 It will send you One Time Password in your provided mobile number.

Step 6. If you do not receive OTP in your mobile within 45 secs “Verify OTP” Button will change as “Re-Send OTP”. You can resend your OTP maximum 3times after it will lock for some time.

Step 7. Once your registration is completed , you will get the above screen

Step 8. You will receive an e-mail with system generated UserId and Password
